Samantha and Toby’s wedding day at Pirongia Pines was an absolute stunner from start to finish. Set on a bright sunny Saturday afternoon, they were surrounded by around 80 of their closest family and friends which made for such a relaxed, genuine vibe. From the moment Toby saw Samantha at the top of the aisle you could tell it hit him, she looked incredible in her Jenny Bridal gown with that 12ft veil flowing behind her in the light. One of those ceremonies that just felt easy, real and full of heart.
The crew brought the goods in the afternoon too, with the full wedding party heading up a local hill for photos overlooking Mount Pirongia and Kakepuku, and they were absolute legends about it. Later on, Samantha and Toby ducked out after dinner for some unreal sunset photos in a nearby paddock with those soft golden tones and epic elevated views. The whole day rolled straight into a solid evening with a packed dance floor and plenty of energy. Such a good day all round, full of laughs, love and proper good people.
These are the moments that make getting out there so worth it. The whole crew up on the hill, with rolling farmland, scattered trees and Mount Pirongia sitting quietly in the distance, it doesn’t get much better.
Epic wedding party shots like this always hit different.
Big views, a solid crew, and a bit of adventure thrown in.
If you’re planning your own wedding and want it captured in a way that feels real, relaxed and true to you, you’re in the right place. I focus on documenting the day as it unfolds, all the genuine moments, the big emotions and everything in between, without it ever feeling forced. It’s about creating something you can look back on and properly feel again, not just see.
