Intimate Done Right

Laid back and full of heart

27 March 2026

Luca and Alex’s backyard wedding at Luca’s parents’ place was one of those days that just came together perfectly. The weather timed it right, clearing just in time for a stunning afternoon. They chose to do things their way, starting with an intimate reveal just before the ceremony, Alex walking up behind Luca and completely blowing him away when he turned to see her in that incredible Eva Lendel gown. From there, it rolled straight into a heartfelt ceremony along a beautiful stone aisle, to the purpose-built pergola on white stone, surrounded by their closest family in a setting that felt relaxed, personal, and full of meaning.

After the ceremony, we kept things easy, heading out into the family horse paddock with tall golden grass for some natural, laid back photos. Across the road from their dinner venue, we snuck in a few more portraits at Willowbrook Park just before they sat down for an intimate evening with family, wrapping up a day that was simple, genuine, and done properly. One of those weddings that proves you don’t need a big crowd to make it something seriously special.

Where it all slows down

Just before dinner, we slipped into the beautiful grounds of Willowbrook Park where the light softened and everything slowed right down.  As the evening settled in, we leaned into an intimate feel, drawing things in close and letting the connection speak for itself.  These are the moments that really hit, calm, unhurried, and full of feeling.  There’s something about evening portraits like this that just strips it back to what matters most.

I believe every person deserves to be captured in the moments they’ve felt most loved and cared for.
Walking hand in hand along the tree-lined driveway, Luca and Alex shared a quiet moment together, away from it all. It’s that gentle, in-between time of the day that always brings out something real, simple, and effortless.

Your Day, As It Felt

If you’re planning your own wedding and want it captured in a way that feels real, relaxed and true to you, you’re in the right place.  I focus on documenting the day as it unfolds, all the genuine moments, the big emotions and everything in between, without it ever feeling forced.  It’s about creating something you can look back on and properly feel again, not just see.
