Dianne and Isaac celebrated their wedding day surrounded by their best friends and family at Hukanui Bible Chapel on a beautiful autumn Saturday. After the ceremony we headed out to the Taitua Arboretum where the wedding party enjoyed a relaxed afternoon amongst the rich autumn colours, with shades of green, red and yellow throughout the trees and leaves scattered across the paths. Even with the grey skies, it still made for such a fun setting for photos.
As the afternoon rolled on and the light faded, everyone gathered at the Trinity Reformed Baptist Church Hall for the reception beneath the fairy lights. It was a really warm and relaxed evening filled with great food, plenty of laughter and time spent celebrating alongside the people closest to Dianne and Isaac. From the colourful autumn portraits through to the evening celebrations, it was such an enjoyable day from beginning to end.
The autumn colours at the Taitua Arboretum looked incredible for Dianne and Isaac’s wedding party photos, with rich reds, yellows and greens right through the trees and leaves. Their deep red dresses and ties complemented the autumn tones perfectly and brought such a fun vibrant feel to the photos.
If you’re planning your own wedding and want it captured in a way that feels real, relaxed and true to you, you’re in the right place. I focus on documenting the day as it unfolds, all the genuine moments, the big emotions and everything in between, without it ever feeling forced. It’s about creating something you can look back on and properly feel again, not just see.
